AUTOMATIC OPTICAL INSPECTION LEVEL II

Under general supervision, the AOI inspector level I operator operates scanning inspection station on standard complexity designs, before and after wet process, including bed and filter setup, following established standards, procedures and criteria, interpret identified flaws for acceptability. If required, use touch up pens or brushes, X-acto Knives and/or burnishing tool to touch up panels. Complete documentation as required.

NORMAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Normal job requirements are, basic reading, writing, and mathematical ability, basic UNIX operating understanding. This position also requires basic Computer Aided Manufacturing experience with an emphasis on AOI, normally obtained through two or more years as an AOI operator or equivalent.

2) DEVELOP / D.E.S Operator Level II

Under general supervision can perform with proven proficiency any task in the Develop / D.E.S process area. May provide leadership and training to lower level Develop / D.E.S Operators. Monitors the work of operators for quality and compliance to specification. Following established procedures may make necessary adjustments to equipment to rectify a process problem. May visually inspect images as required.

NORMAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical ability. Good visual acuity/mechanically inclined. Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in Develop / D.E.S process and operations. Experience preferred but not required.

3) Dry Film Operator Level II

Under general supervision can perform with proven proficiency any task in the dry film process area. May provide leadership and training to lower level Dry Film Operators. Monitors the work of operators for quality and compliance to specification. Following established procedures may make necessary adjustments to equipment to rectify a process problem. May visually inspect images as required.

NORMAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical ability. Good visual acuity/mechanically inclined. Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in dry film process and operations. Experience preferred but not required.

4) LAMINATION TECH LEVEL II

Under close supervision processes inner layer panels through laminating equipment. Following established procedures, stacks and books multi-layer orders, places and removes panels from the heated press, monitors heated press while in operation to assure adherence to engineering specifications. Mechanically inspects panel for proper thickness, performs a minor visual inspection of inner layer panel surfaces. Shears off excess edging from panels. Guidance is readily available. Completes documentation as required.

NORMAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading, writing and, mathematical ability. Experience in lamination operations preferred but not required.

5) MAINTENANCE / FACILITIES LEVEL II

Under close supervision performs non-complex maintenance/mechanical duties, involving the repair, modification and preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds and facility equipment. Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains facility plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems. Performs minor modifications. Preventative maintenance tasks include lubrication, cleaning, filter changes and the like. Uses a variety of hand and power tools to perform duties. May assist in the relocation of furniture and production equipment or other duties as required.

NORMAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical ability.   Experience in maintenance and repair desirable but not required.

6) PLATER LEVEL II
Under general supervision, processes work through plating area. With proven proficiency can perform most tasks in the plating area, such as Copper, Tin/Nickel, Solder, Nickel and gold electroplating. Makes additions of critical chemical components as directed. Monitors and ensures uniform flow of work through appropriate plating tanks. Performs visual and mechanical inspection of plated first article panels to ensure quality and compliance to specifications. Maintains documentation as required.

NORMAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical ability. Experience preferred but not required. Requires visual acuity and manual dexterity.

7) QUALITY INSPECTOR LEVEL II

Under limited supervision, capable of performing all Quality Inspection procedures. Visually inspects panels or individual printed circuits at or during any phase of production. Capable of interpreting customer prints and quality specifications. Following established standards, procedures and criteria, visually inspect boards or panels for flaws and determines acceptability. If required, uses touch up pens or brushes, X-Acto knife and/or burnishing tool to touch up panels. Completes documentation as required.

NORMAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical ability. Must possess a working knowledge of inspection techniques and specification interpretation usually acquired by a minimum of one year experience in inspection. Good visual acuity and manual dexterity. They must have 20/20 vision or they must provide their own lenses to correct their vision to 20/20. They must be able to use standard measuring tools and devices to obtain accurate readings.

8) SILK-SCREENER LEVEL II

Under general supervision, performs manual silk-screen duties of moderate complexity. Responsibilities include the preparation and setup of stencils utilizing basic image patterns; adjusting and touching up stencil to assure sharp, clear, accurate image and manually screening image onto panels, using basic screening techniques. If necessary, may alter technique. Frequently examines screened images to assure conformance to specification. Inspection of the first run article if conducted by appropriate personnel (Silk Screen lead, In Process Inspector). Guidance from superiors is readily available. Completes documentation as required.
